We require a supervisor who is capable of overseeing the entire kitchen and ensuring food safety laws are followed, as well as being successful at implementing new menu items and recipes. Passion for food and the ability to inspire others to be innovative and enthusiastic kitchen professionals are highly valued skills. Responsibilities: • Be responsible for the overall success of the daily culinary operations, with an emphasis on surpassing guest expectations while driving revenue and profit • Set and monitor performance criteria for team members, as well as provide advice and direction to support and maintain an efficient kitchen • Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees • Supervise all food preparation in the kitchen, including procedures, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are attractively presented • Control department costs that are under your management, such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment, and work with vendors to get the best products at a cost-effective price Qualifications: • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification • Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage • At least 7-8 years of culinary experience • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers • Strong leadership skills with experience leading, motivating, and developing a team
