**Key Responsibilities **
- Provide technical leadership, support to the site’s 24/7 operations regarding safety and process control systems, process instrumentation, DCS, and PLCs.
- Utilize technical knowledge and data analysis skills to troubleshoot process control systems.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities on control and electrical systems.
- Support production and maintenance departments in continuous improvement, yield improvement, and efficiency improvements.
- Manage installation and startup of instrumentation and automation projects, including capital projects. Satisfy projects’ functional, budgetary, and timeline requirements.
- Work with other engineering disciplines to provide instrumentation and automation support for broader mechanical and chemical projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing or chemical process environment.
- Experience with variable frequency drives, PLC programming, and HMI programming.
- Experience with process instrumentation in an industrial environment.
- Experience reading and interpreting P&IDs and electrical drawings.
