    We have an opening for aReactor Operator

    Responsibilities:

    • Tends to equipment or systems that process chemical substances into industrial products

    • Dumps specified amounts of solid materials into heating vessels or blending tanks

    • Turns valves to feed liquid and gaseous materials through equipment units

    • Maintains system at specified temperature, pressure, and vacuum levels

    • Observes chemical reactions; monitors gauges, signals, and recorders; and receives notification from control laboratory, supervisor, or other workers to make specified operating adjustments.

    • Draws samples of products for laboratory analysis

    • Maintains log of gauge readings and shift production

    **Qualifications

    **

    • HS Diploma or equivalent required

    • 18 years of age or older

    • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check

    • Chemical processing experience is strongly preferred

    • Must be able to wear required PPE(Personal Protective Equipment)

    • Union membership required after 30 days of employment

    **

    3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am)

    Occasional overtime may be required. Pay $24.85 per hour until certified, then $29.07 per hour

    $24.85 - $26.55 / hr
