We have an opening for aReactor Operator
Responsibilities:
Tends to equipment or systems that process chemical substances into industrial products
Dumps specified amounts of solid materials into heating vessels or blending tanks
Turns valves to feed liquid and gaseous materials through equipment units
Maintains system at specified temperature, pressure, and vacuum levels
Observes chemical reactions; monitors gauges, signals, and recorders; and receives notification from control laboratory, supervisor, or other workers to make specified operating adjustments.
Draws samples of products for laboratory analysis
Maintains log of gauge readings and shift production
**Qualifications
**
HS Diploma or equivalent required
18 years of age or older
Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
Chemical processing experience is strongly preferred
Must be able to wear required PPE(Personal Protective Equipment)
Union membership required after 30 days of employment

**
3rd shift (11:00 pm – 7:30 am)
Occasional overtime may be required. Pay $24.85 per hour until certified, then $29.07 per hour
