    Job Summary

    We are seeking an experienced Laboratory Analyst/Chemist to join our team! As part of a larger team, you will perform routine testing on chemicals, water, raw materials, and finished products using various techniques and equipment. Additionally, you will analyze data, review notes, maintain accurate records, and compile detailed reports of both short- and long-term findings.

    The ideal candidate is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and works well independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with basic safety regulations, strong communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot are essential for success in this role.

    Responsibilities

    Perform routine testing on a variety of materials and products.

    Conduct sample extractions and prepare samples as needed.

    Analyze data and perform calibrations, including updating curves.

    Perform peer reviews of documents and analyses for accuracy verification.

    Clean, calibrate, and conduct maintenance on laboratory equipment, including LC-QQQ, ICP-MS, GSMS, or HPLC instrumentation.

    Revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and modify templates as needed.

    Compile detailed data reports and ensure thorough documentation.

    Maintain communication between chemists and in-house technicians regarding sample preparation and re-extractions.

    Provide recommendations to teams based on test results.

    Perform appropriate laboratory setup and cleanup tasks.

    Ensure all laboratory activities comply with ISO 17025 standards, including maintaining quality systems, documentation, and processes for testing and calibration.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, or a related science discipline.

    1–3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, including working with LC-QQQ, ICP-MS, GSMS, or HPLC instrumentation.

    Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and method development/validation.

    Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

    Clear and concise communication with team members and management.

    Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

    Flexibility to work full-time, on-call, overtime, and weekends as needed.

    Strong personal commitment to successfully completing projects and effective time management skills.

    Previous experience working in a laboratory setting desired
