We’re looking for a full-time catering event coordinator who loves planning special events. You’ll work directly with clients, caterers, and other food service vendors to ensure the logistics of each hotel event run smoothly. Responsibilities include financial planning, facilitating event logistics, communicating with staff about event execution, and evaluating the success of each event. Responsibilities: • Measure the success of each hotel event and record any critiques or positive results • Create a budget and keep track of invoices and receipts for each hotel event • Collaborate with the sales manager and staff to schedule events • Document all event logistics, including transportation, food and beverage provisions, guest lodging, all vendors, and audio-visual needs • Coordinate with vendors to ensure they arrive on schedule and comply with contracts Qualifications: • Must have a high school diploma or GED, and an associate degree in a related field is preferred • Exemplary time management skills and has a knack for detail-oriented work • Knowledge of financial planning for events and ability to use Microsoft Excel • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in event management • Display excellent communication skills with clients and coworkers Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 yearly
