    Banquet and Catering Manager Our successful hotel is seeking a dedicated Banquet Manager who is eager to provide our guests with an unforgettable event experience. You'll work directly with guests to book banquet space and provide options that meet their needs and budgets. We require someone with exceptional leadership abilities to manage banquet staff and ensure that our hotel services are of the highest quality. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with 3+ years of hospitality experience, preferably in a management role, and an unwavering commitment to client satisfaction. Responsibilities: • Strengthen a customer-focused banquet event department continuously by developing policies, procedures, quality standards, and cost-cutting measures • Supervise the daily operations of the banquet are, including ordering supplies, overseeing event space set-up, and selecting staffing levels to provide an exceptional level of service • Document the outcome of each event to assess and make improvements on future events and processes • Ensure a quality product is provided by communicating with clients about banquet event options that match their budget, and go over any adjustments, questions, or concerns • Relay all event orders to on-site banquet staff members so they are made aware of their duties and responsibilities Qualifications: • Possess excellent computer skills, especially MS Office -Word, Excel, and Powerpoint • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • High school graduate or GED equivalent with a degree in hospitality management preferred • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills • Over 3 years experience managing a team in a hospitality role, preferably in a food service capacity Compensation: $65,000 yearly
