    Logistics Team Member

    We are the Beacon on Barry - where people are nourished, equipped and prepared for the road ahead.

    Chick-fil-A on Barry Road is looking for a talented Logistics Team Member to join our team. This position includes counting product on a daily basis, working alongside different teams and departments within the restaurant, sourcing product in the event of a shortage, regular interactions with 3rd party suppliers, and assisting with guest needs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Daily truck ordering

    • Food safety reporting

    • Inventory management

    • Equipment maintenance

      • Preventative and unforeseen maintenance, if unforeseen falls under the candidate's skillset.
    • Adhering to maintenance calendar

    • Coordinating the seasonal rollout and accompanying product organization

    • Fosters a culture of caring

    • Upholding Chick-fil-A’s values and culture by leading by example and demonstrating integrity, respect, and excellence in all aspects of the job

    • First point of contact for all vendors and third party contractors

    Qualifications :

    • Experience with product inventory and ordering a plus.

    • Able to lift, twist, raise overhead 25-50 lbs regularly.

    • Able to safely use ladders in all sizes .

    • Able to work primarily early hours starting as early as 5am.

    • Must be available to work Saturdays and major holidays.

    • Able to build and maintain relationships with vendors, third party maintenance crews, and other Chick-fil-A’s.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.

    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    • Current driver’s license.

    • Food safety knowledge/experience preferred.

    Working Conditions include:

    • Standing for the majority of shift.

    • Working in and outside of the restaurant with weather gear provided.

    This position is subject to a background check in order to verify driving record.
