Director of Sales and Brand Growth
Role Summary
The Director of Sales & Brand Growth serves as guardian over this critical success factor on our executive team as a forward thinking-partner. Demonstrates ownership for the Creating Raving Fans Strategy, specifically by delivering 2nd Mile Service and activating Emotional Connections Marketing in order to grow sales and build the brand. Director ensures that the relationship between the operations and 2nd Mile Service teams is healthy and strong. Creates and executes the annual and 90-day marketing plans and systems to market the Chick-fil-A brand both internally and externally ensuring Local Store Marketing, and Social Media Marketing occurs on a daily basis. Embodies the values of Chick-fil-A and serves as an ambassador to the community. This Director must demonstrate creativity and marketing acumen with the strong ability to think strategically as well as tactically in planning and implementing marketing initiatives and promotions. Must have a growth mind set.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maximizing the execution of the Raving Fans Strategy:
2nd Mile Service:
Select talent, provide vision and leadership to a “world class” 2MS team
Ensure 2MS team creates REMARKABLE experiences in restaurant and in community
Creates Emotional Connections:
Leads with food, cows, people and influence
Promotes backstage kitchen tours
Engages customers in restaurant events
Developing Marketing Leadership Team, Backstage Tour Guides, Training Coaches (using IDP's)
Continues a steady healthy pace of sales growth at the restaurant
Prepares Annual Marketing Budget
Leading and overseeing development and implementation of Annual Marketing Programs
Creating and executing the 90-day marketing plans
Engage in compelling Interactive Digital Marketing/Social Media Marketing
Strategically and intentionally grows the Chick-fil-A “brand” by:
Building and developing strong relationships in schools and community
Maintaining business and professional contacts
Seeking opportunities to serve Chick-fil-A catering at large events
Strategically executing win-win cross-promotions with community and business partners
Ensuring hot food distribution and sampling is being maximized on a daily basis
Establishing goodwill and building sales through daily BOG card and PAL's distribution
Involving Chick-fil-A in community wide events
Serves as ambassador to community with the local Chambers of Commerce
Ensures P.O.P. materials are displayed and all store merchandising is well-coordinated
Strives to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A
Conducts SWOT analysis and tracks coupon redemptions
Maintains internal enthusiasm that comes with being a part of a thriving, growing company
Commits to not only becoming bigger, but also getting better
Hosts an annual marketing planning retreat to clarify vision and establish goals
Partners with executive team to host Annual Awards Banquet and Team Member Seminar
Meets weekly with Executive Leadership Team as strategic partner
Participates in Annual Executive Leadership Retreat
Operates Community Relations office
Assesses the restaurant and exterior (including campus) prepares annual maintenance report

Education
Professional marketing or communications experience
Microsoft Office, Microsoft Publisher or equivalent design program
