At Chick-fil-A, Kitchen Leaders are responsible for assisting the management team in all aspects of shift management and ensuring that each restaurant guest has an outstanding experience. Shift Leaders are responsible for supervising assigned stations for an entire shift and may be assigned to open or close the restaurant in the absence of a manager; following established opening and closing procedures.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading a culture of food safety, environmental safety, and proper hygiene.
- Leading food service processes including teaching team members to follow recipes and read tickets to accurately prepare all orders.
- Leading Kitchen Team to achieve restaurant’s established speed of service, taste of food, and order accuracy goals.
- Performing any of the stations needed throughout shift
- Addressing guest issues that may arise and consulting with management regarding complex issues.
- Growing and maintaining a positive work environment based on respect.
- Leading and enforcing all Company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Two years of work experience demonstrating skill in food service, management, organization, and ability to learn.
- Open Availability
- Proven history of consistently performing at a high level in a team environment.
