    The TRYP by Wyndham Pittsburgh/Lawrenceville is hiring a Chief Engineer. The hotel chief engineer manages all maintenance operations for a hotel property, including the engineering department. Responsibilities: • Creating and implementing maintenance schedules, including preventative maintenance, and diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment • Supervising and training the engineering department staff, and delegating tasks to ensure the property runs smoothly • Performing daily and weekly property inspections to ensure the appearance and condition of the property, fixtures, and fittings • Leading the installation of new equipment, and ensuring that parts inventory is sufficient to handle reactive work orders • Responding to guest maintenance requests, and building good relationships with both internal and external customers • Overseeing all costs associated with repairs and replacements, and staying within budget • Ensuring proper record-keeping for hotel audits and inspections • Representing the engineering department in management meetings Qualifications: • Prior hotel maintenance experience • Supervisory experience • Strong understanding of PM Programs Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 yearly
