    Position Summary:

    Dropit is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Executive Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a robust background in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and banking strategies. This individual will be responsible for leading our financial operations, driving major deals, and ensuring the financial stability and growth of the company. The ideal candidate will be board-ready and capable of stepping in to lead when necessary.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's overall strategic direction and growth objectives.

    • Mergers & Acquisitions and/or Exit: Lead M&A activities, including identifying opportunities, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and integrating acquisitions and/or have had experience leading successful exit strategies.

    • Financial Planning & Analysis: Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to ensure alignment with business goals.

    • **Banking & Investment Strategies: **Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions to secure funding and optimize capital structure.

    • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

    • Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency in financial operations, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance performance.

    • Board Collaboration: Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.

    • Global Leadership: Lead and manage finances globally (US, UK, IL,CA), fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture across different regions.

    • Leadership Development: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

    • Modeling: Build dynamic, scalable financial models to project cash flow, profitability, and other KPIs relevant to the startup's business model and growth strategy.

    • Provide financial, P&L, balance sheet, and strategic leadership across the businesses to make financial and business decisions that deliver the market P&L targets to grow the business year-over-year efficiently and effectively.

    • Partner with the leadership team to set business performance and KPIs to maximize profitability. Analyze costs, and make informed decisions regarding resource allocation and program development.

    • Provide accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and analysis to inform senior leadership and the Board on the organization's financial health, performance and risks.

    • Collaborate with external auditors, government agencies, and funding sources to ensure compliance, optimized revenue cycle, and transparent financial reporting.

    • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.

    • Develop tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Oversee tax planning, reporting, and compliance activities at the federal, state, and local levels.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including significant experience in M&A and banking strategies.
    • Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving organizational success.
    • Global Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and managing global teams, with a deep understanding of cross-cultural management and global financial landscapes.
    • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the retail and technology sectors, with the ability to navigate complex financial landscapes.
    • Board Experience: Experience working with or serving on a board of directors, with strong governance and compliance knowledge.
    • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
