  • Responsibilities

    Responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and overseeing the financial activities of the company, the CFO plays a pivotal role of leadership and collaboration with a highly experienced executive team in a growing industry. This position oversees a team responsible for all company financial matters that anchor an industry leading company with long-term stability and a proven track record.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Has a keen ability to analyze data from diverse departments, create models based on trend analysis, and able to project business opportunities and risks

    Responsible for managing company financial procedures and reporting including monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    Develops plans for growth to increase profit and reduce expenditures

    Applies experience working with an external accounting firm on annual production of tax reporting and financial statements

    Interacts closely with staff executives and contributes at a high level to support and elevate a team

    Applies their skills in leading an accounting department and possesses an ability to think strategically and enhance best practices

    Monitors cash flow management to support all company activities

    Implements budgets, closely tracks outcomes, and communicates results

    Required Strategic Skills:

    Organizational skills, multi software skills, strong writing and listening skills, financial systems experience, and team collaboration skills

    Ability to absorb multiple levels of data; can envision and project growth based on data

    Has extensive experience in a leadership role with a proven ability to manage large-scale projects, oversee long-term company goals, and communicate them effectively

    Proven ability to develop and write reports for diverse stakeholders based on financial outcomes and future projections

    Experience and Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting required

    Proven track record of GAAP implementation with the ability to lead teammates

    Has a track record of moving a business forward via strategic insight capability

    Several years of experience in a Senior Financial Leadership role; MBA and/or CPA a plus, but not required with appropriate experience and proven capabilities
