    Position Overview:

    The Chief Growth Officer is responsible for driving the sales forecast at Lucia Landscaping by leading and mentoring the sales team to achieve targeted results. Reporting directly to the COO, this role plays an integral part in enhancing client satisfaction, retention, and overall business growth.

    Objectives:

    • Goal Setting: Establish annual and monthly goals for the sales team.
    • Pipeline Management: Regularly review the sales pipeline, track progress, and discuss key metrics such as sales, production, and backlog.
    • Mentorship: Provide consistent mentorship and coaching to salespeople to ensure they meet and exceed their targets.
    • Motivation: Foster a motivating environment through both extrinsic rewards (financial incentives) and intrinsic factors (personal fulfillment).

    Sales Manager Responsibilities:

    The Chief Growth Officer responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Leading and managing the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Driving the growth of the landscaping and snow removal business in assigned markets.
    • Collaborating with prospective customers to identify needs and develop tailored solutions.
    • Managing key sales metrics using sales automation tools and productivity reports.
    • Building and maintaining professional relationships with key decision-makers.
    • Setting individual sales targets and tracking team performance.
    • Hiring, training, and fostering the professional growth of the sales team.
    • Ensuring all team members complete job handoffs within 24 hours of a sale.
    • Coordinating with the Operations team to address any quality concerns within 48 hours.
    • Collaborating with the marketing department on lead generation efforts.
    • Regularly training sales staff to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
    • Developing sales forecasts, analyzing past performance, and projecting future outcomes.
    • Producing sales reports, tracking sales, and creating department budgets.
    • Preparing and submitting weekly department scorecards.
    • Ensuring cross-functional collaboration with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to meet customer needs and expand the business.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    The ideal Chief Growth Officer candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

    • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, required.
    • Knowledge of the lawn and landscaping industry (3+ years preferred).
    • Highly competitive, coachable, and results-driven with a positive attitude.
    • Excellent communication skills for building strong, value-based relationships.
    • Self-starter, highly motivated, and energetic with a friendly and outgoing personality.
    • Proven ability to set goals, self-initiate, and work independently.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to multitask while maintaining a professional demeanor and attention to detail.
    • Presentation skills for delivering information effectively to both individuals and groups.
    • Extensive face-to-face (B2B) sales experience.
    • Experience in sales strategy planning and implementation.
    • Proficiency in customer relationship management.
    • Previous experience managing and directing a sales team.

    Compensation & Benefits:

    • Salary: Competitive base salary ($85,000-$150,000) + Commission.

    Pay: $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
