    Seeking a talented Chief Maintenance Engineer to join our esteemed team at Hilton Garden Inn in Warner Robins, GA, US. - Looking for a committed professional to oversee our maintenance operations with a salary range of $18 to $22.50. Responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of facilities to provide guests with a safe and comfortable environment. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular walk-throughs and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structure(s) of the hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment. • Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces, meeting rooms, ballrooms, outlets, back-of-the-house spaces, guest rooms, and grounds. • Verify completion of all repairs, replacements, and renovation projects within the Hotel. • Adhere to all corporate-required purchasing policies and controls, including but not limited to all outside contractor bids, budgets, and schedules. • Follow prescribed safety procedures for personnel and equipment by the company and OSHA. • Lead in the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of department staff and all other staff under the direction of the Engineering department. • Maintain effective Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the hotel. • Inform the General Manager and Hotel department heads on a regular basis regarding the specific and overall condition of the building structure(s), related systems, and equipment offering prudent, cost-effective proposals for maintaining these systems. Access and input information into a computer and generate reports. • Strategically plan and lead the engineering department in delivering high-quality service interactions and tasks that will lead to high guest satisfaction scores. • Must be fluent in English. • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment. • Must have open availability. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience • Minimum of 6 years related experience and/or trade school training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in the following trades: • Electrical. • Mechanical. • HVAC Systems. • Process Controls. • Painting. • Plumbing. • Carpentry. Communication Skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational and analytical skills. • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. • Ability to effectively present information. • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues. Compensation: $18 - $22.50 hourly
