Responsibilities: • Oversee the maintenance and operation of the hotel's physical structures and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient functioning. • Ensure that routine maintenance is completed in all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, public spaces, and grounds. • Verify the timely completion of all repairs, replacements, and renovation projects within the hotel. • Adhere to corporate purchasing policies and controls, including managing contractor bids, budgets, and schedules. • Enforce safety procedures for personnel and equipment in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines. • Lead the hiring, training, supervision, and discipline of department staff and other team members. • Implement Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and provide training on equipment and energy usage. • Keep the General Manager and department heads informed about the condition of the building structures and equipment, offering cost-effective maintenance proposals. • Strategically plan and lead the engineering department to deliver high-quality service for enhanced guest satisfaction. • Must be fluent in English, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and possess various physical abilities for the role. • Maintain open availability to fulfill job requirements effectively.
