Our client is a PE-backed platform prepared to build  nation-wide Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS). They are looking for a Chief Operating Officer / Chief Compliance Officer that's ambitious and prepared to build a company that'll scale into all 50 states through a mix of organic de-novo launches and rapid M&A. If you’ve taken HCBS or home-health entities from application to first claim in multiple states, this is your green-field moment.

    What are the core responsibilities?

    • Licensure & Accreditation – Drive all CON, LHCSA/CHHA, waiver, PSO/IPA filings; quarterback state and CMS surveys.
    • Compliance Architecture – Translate CMS VBP, 1915 waiver, Stark/AKS, and state rules into audit-proof policies.
    • M&A Integration – Lead diligence on compliance, QAPI, and risk pools; execute post-close 100-day plans.
    • Operational Scale – Stand up multi-state EVV, QAPI, credentialing, and analytics systems; recruit and mentor regional leaders.
    • Risk & Ethics Oversight – Monitor HIPAA, corporate practice, solvency, and billing integrity; brief investors on exposure.
    • Performance Analytics – Connect compliance dashboards to HEDIS, CAHPS, and CMS VBP metrics; launch Lean/Six-Sigma projects.

What are some of the requirements?

    • 10+ years building or flipping HCBS/HHA entities in 2 or more states.
    • Successful lead on CMS or state survey with first-pass POC.
    • Active CHC, CCEP, or similar compliance credential.
    • Track record negotiating capitation / shared-savings deals

Who will love working on this team?

Straight-talking operator who meets conflict head-on, values humble confidence, and recruits people smarter than themselves. Mission first, titles last.
