Our client, a growing boutique firm specializing in employment and family law based in Silicon Valley with a satellite office in San Diego, is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO). The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in a law firm environment, strong business acumen, human resource skills, and a "firm first" approach. The COO will have significant authority to achieve firm goals, including improving operating efficiencies and profitability. Key responsibilities include overseeing finance, human resources, facilities management, operations, and contributing to marketing and business development efforts. The role involves strategic and tactical planning, risk management, and enhancing the firm's image and visibility in target markets.

• Remote in the state of California

Qualifications:

• Five years of experience in law firm administration or its equivalent.
• Strong human resources and financial skills required, with an MBA and/or CPA degree preferred.
• Experience working in a Family Law Firm or Employment Law Firm setting a plus.

Compensation:

• $150,000 - $250,000
