    Who You Are

    • Proven experience as a COO, senior operations leader, or in another senior managerial role.
    • Experience in senior a leadership role in or management of a family-owned business is a must.
    • 10+ years of successful P&L management, including revenue, expenses, and profit.
    • Strong understanding of business functions such as marketing, sales, finance, and HR.
    • Familiarity with diverse business functions, including IT, supply chain, and client service.
    • Experience in developing and managing remote locations is required.
    • Experience in manufacturing with process improvement is preferred.
    • Thorough understanding of management and financial practices in all areas and phases of business operations.
    • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable goals.
    • Highly proactive with a hands-on approach.
    • Collaborative style leveraging cross-departmental subject matter expertise to achieve business goals.

    What You'll Do

    The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for overseeing the company's ongoing business operations and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The COO will collaborate closely with Owners and other senior leaders to establish and execute operational objectives, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and core values.

    • Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives to improve performance and operational efficiency across all departments.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with business objectives and core values.
    • Analyze performance metrics, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary adjustments.
    • Oversee daily operations of the organization, including production, logistics, supply chain, client experience, and more.
    • Ensure consistent and effective execution of business processes across all departments.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure optimal operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
    • Lead and manage senior managers and department heads, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance, building relationships to foster trust throughout the organization.
    • Promote a positive, results-oriented organizational culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
    • Drive professional development initiatives for operational teams and improve skills across various operational functions.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining quality service.
    • Monitor and control operational expenses, striving for cost-saving opportunities without compromising product or service quality
    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
    • Leverage technology and automation to streamline workflows and operations.
    • Use data and analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational success.
    • Experience implementing and optimizing ERP systems and related technology stack.
    • Ensure that the company's operations comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
    • Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Work closely with other executive leaders (e.g., CEO, CFO) to establish and drive company-wide initiatives and priorities.
    • Provide operational insights and guidance during strategic decision-making processes.
    • Engage with the HR department to ensure effective talent management and resource allocation.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to Owners and other senior leaders regarding operational performance, challenges, and improvements.
    • Represent the operational side of the company in meetings with stakeholders, clients, and potential business partners.
