Responsibilities:

Accurately follow the menu cycles in accordance with Healthy Handprints and TDA nutritional requirements for all children.

Ensure that all meals and snack preparation/distribution are prepared, cooked, and served to all children in attendance as outlined in the daily food program menus.

This position requires someone with a great attitude toward food who endorses safe and sanitary habits.

Prepare and serve attractive, appealing, and flavorful meals.

When not in the kitchen, working as a Floater or Teacher.

Maintain an accurate inventory of food and supplies on a daily/weekly basis.

Submit weekly food inventories and necessary orders to the Corporate Office.

Qualifications:

High School or GED.

Texas DSHS Food Handling Certificate.

Pass DSS Background check.
