    Job Title: Curriculum Specialist for Daycare Center (Ages 6 Weeks - 4 Years)

    Position Overview: The Curriculum Specialist for the Daycare Center will play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing educational programs for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old. This individual will ensure that the curriculum supports early childhood development, meets state standards, and fosters a nurturing and stimulating environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in curriculum design, possess supervisory skills, and be passionate about fostering children's growth and development. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual with strong leadership and communication skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old.
    • Ensure curriculum aligns with state standards and early childhood education best practices.
    • Supervise and provide guidance to teaching staff on curriculum implementation, classroom management, and instructional techniques.
    • Monitor and assess classroom environments, providing feedback to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
    • Conduct regular training and professional development sessions for staff on curriculum-related topics and best practices.
    • Collaborate with teachers to create lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of children, ensuring each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development is nurtured.
    • Develop systems for tracking student progress and adjusting curriculum as necessary to meet developmental milestones.
    • Communicate with parents to provide updates on curriculum goals and individual child progress.
    • Stay current with trends in early childhood education and continuously improve curriculum based on research and feedback.
    • Ensure compliance with daycare licensing standards and accreditation requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in curriculum development for early childhood education.
    • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in an educational setting.
    • Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning standards.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and outgoing.
    • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers is a plus.
    • Familiarity with various curriculum frameworks (e.g., Creative Curriculum, HighScope, Frog Street) is a bonus.

    Salary: Starting salary ranges from $45,000 to $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
