Seeking Licensed Master’s or Doctoral Level Psychologist

Position Description: Kimel Psychological Services (KPS) is growing! Our specialized practice provides a range of services for children, teens, and young adults with developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, ADHD, gifted, twice-exceptional, and mood disorders. We are seeking a Colorado Licensed Master’s Level Licensed Psychotherapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) or Doctoral Level Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) full-time to join our team to offer in-person and telehealth therapy in Denver, Colorado to children and young adults with developmental disabilities, ADHD, learning differences, giftedness, and comorbid anxiety and mood disorders. This position would help the provider avoid all of the administrative aspects of a mental health practice, as aspects of billing, submitting insurance claims, and verifying insurance coverage would be taken care of by the practice. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about psychotherapy (especially using CBT, DBT, family systems, ACT, and related techniques) and eager to work and grow within a supportive group practice. We have a strong referral base and are looking for someone who can join our team immediately upon hire.

A Little About Us: KPS is a small, minority- and woman- owned mental health practice that focuses on patient-centered care and is known for its excellence and expertise in developmental disabilities and learning disorders. We provide empirically supported and culturally sensitive psychotherapy and evaluation services. We serve families ages 1 through adulthood and offer a range of diagnostic evaluation services including cognitive/intellectual abilities, academic achievement, attention disorders, emotional functioning, fetal substance exposure, head injury, and a range of developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). KPS serves people in the Denver Metro and surrounding areas. We have an ongoing commitment to cultural competency and dedication to meeting the treatment and assessment needs of patients from any background. We help families, schools, and community settings understand a child’s areas of strength and areas for growth so that all parties can be on the same page.
