    We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to provide high-quality care and support to disabled children with special needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for children with physical, emotional, or developmental disabilities.     Responsibilities Provide personalized care and support to disabled children with special needs, including: Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) Mobility assistance (transferring, positioning) Feeding assistance Medication reminder Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child Create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social development Establish positive relationships with children, families, and healthcare professionals Communicate effectively with families regarding their child's care, progress, and any concerns Maintain accurate records of care provided, including progress notes and incident reports Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices in special needs care

    Requirements

    1+ years of experience caring for disabled children with special needs High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., special education, nursing) preferred Certification in CPR/First Aid and any other relevant certifications (e.g., SCIP, PMT) Ability to assist with transfers Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if applicable) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassion, empathy, and patience when working with children with special needs

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience with tube feeding, seizures, or other complex medical needs Knowledge of behavioral support strategies and crisis intervention techniques Bilingual or multilingual skills Experience working with children with autism, Down syndrome, or other developmental disabilities
