The Oasis Center is a nonprofit family medical clinic and we are looking for qualified and compassionate individuals to join our team!

The child watch provider is an essential clinic position and cares for children while their parent/caregiver is on site during their visits, for groups, or for any other needs at the clinic. The number of children needing care varies by day and can range from 1-5 children at a time, with children of all ages but primarily under age 6.

During the times that children are not needing care, the child watch provider assists with organizing and distributing donations to families, usually children's clothing, and with clinic cleaning, including light maintenance and cleaning bathroom.

Responsibilities:

Care for children in the family room "child watch" while their parent/caregiver is on-site, usually 1 to 5 children at a time.

Maintain an organized, engaging, and clean family room play space

Organize fun activities for children.

Help to sort and distribute donations, such as clothing and household items

Help with clinic cleaning, including daily bathroom cleaning and vacuuming and straightening the waiting room.

Maintain confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA

Qualifications:

Previous experience caring for children preferred

Previous experience working with families affected by substance use preferred

Openness to feedback and working as part of a team!
