Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Opportunity in Massachusetts – Outpatient Focus!

Here's an exciting chance for a child psychiatrist to become part of a thriving and expanding psychiatric service situated in Salem, MA, just approximately 15 miles to the north of Boston. Depending on your experience and alignment with the department's requirements, this position can be tailored to encompass inpatient, outpatient, or a combination of both.

This medical center offers a comprehensive range of psychiatric care, spanning adult inpatient psychiatry, an older adult inpatient unit, a dedicated child and adolescent inpatient unit, distinct partial hospital programs for adults and adolescents, and multiple outpatient clinics. The department actively engages in clinical research and serves as a central hub for the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project (MCPAP), a state-supported outpatient consultation service for local pediatricians. Our educational program is vibrant, offering teaching opportunities and the potential for an academic appointment. Physicians in our department experience a collaborative and supportive practice environment.
