Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Assistant Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. The ideal candidate is nurturing, patient, and creative. Responsibilities
Assisting in observation and assessment of children's development along with team.
Work with the team to analyze and plan classroom curriculum based on individual children's developmental needs and interests.
Maintain the learning enviornment to reflect the culture of children, families staff and community and meet indicidual group needs.
Implement and supervise developmentally appropriate learning activities.
As part of the classroom team, build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
Along with team, plan guidance strategies for children.
Plan with team on how to engage families as partners in their children's education.
Qualifications
Washington State Early Childhood Education Initial Certificate or higher OR DCYF (MERIT) approved equivalent.
If not fully qualified, must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent AND be on a Professional Development Plan to meet qualifications within 5 years from the date of hire.
First aid/CPR certified
Food Handlers card
TB test/MMR vaccine
