Center Director Job Description Salary: $55,000 Bonus performance driven metrics
The Center Director (CD) has overall responsibility for operation of the center, and ensures that the center is operated in accordance with company policies and state licensing standards. The Center Director will take lead in ensuring compliance with operating procedures to provide the best educational, care, and safe environment for children, our families, and the communities we serve. Maintains highest standards by being visible and involved daily in the operations, implementation of our classroom curriculum and providing support to staff. Promotes the positive image of the company in the community. Achieves profitability for the company through daily tasks related to new enrollment as well as retaining existing families. Curriculum Implementation:
The Center Director will play an important role in guiding our teachers by using their passion for learning to implement curriculum, using The Learning Experience’s characters to drive the curriculum. The required resources including training and material will be provided in a timely manner to ensure that the curriculum is fully experienced by our children in a fun environment.
Standard Operating Procedure Responsibilities
Center Director will uphold and impart knowledge of The Learning Experience Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to remain in compliance and to maintain a standard that is consistent with the goal of providing a safe and healthy environment that nurtures bright minds.
Fiscal Responsibilities
· Ensures accuracy and timely collection of tuition in accordance with company policies and procedures.
· Maintains an accurate financial accounting of the center’s operation
· Prepares and forwards accurate payroll, accounting, and operations reports by pre-determined deadlines to Management
· Hires and maintains high quality and performing staff in partnership with Management
· Manages staff expenditure to ensure successful operations of the center
Enrollment Responsibilities:
· Fills the center to capacity while maximizing the profitability of the operation.
· Daily attendance should meet licensed capacity and ratios
· Available to parents at their convenience—listens attentively to their concerns and takes appropriate action.
· Ensures retention of students by ensuring quality programs.
· Lead nurturing in accordance with The Learning Experience standards to convert leads into parent tours and converts tours into enrollments. Accurately reports withdrawals and reason for withdrawal and new starts weekly.
· Nurture relationships with Families and maintains effective communications with families.
· Regularly solicits feedback from parents in order to improve the center.
Health and Safety:
· Maintains good working relationships with the licensing board representative and the city health representative.
· Maintain the physical center environment and all health/safety standard operating procedures are always in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
· Requires staff to enforce all safety policies and procedures in compliance with all regulatory agency requirements.
· Implements all standards necessary to ensure a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including universal precautions
All responsibilities of the Center Director will leverage direct and open communication with Management to ensure; the Center Director has all the resources and support needed. Management will work closely with the Center Director and Staff to define measurable performance goals, and incentives.
