    We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team at Seneca Babcock. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background from a Child Development Associate (CDA) to a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field. This position involves creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans, providing a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment, and supervising assistant teachers and aides.

    Responsibilities:

    Develop and execute educational lesson plans and activities in accordance with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.

    Create a safe and supportive learning environment for young children.

    Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.

    Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to ensure comprehensive educational and developmental goals are met.

    Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and development.

    Oversee and support assistant teachers and classroom aides in daily activities and responsibilities.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential; bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.

    Previous experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting.

    Strong knowledge of early childhood development theories and practices.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

    Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    CDA (can currently be enrolled in CDA for infants and toddler) or Associate Degree in Eary Childhood Education or higher

    Previous experience with childcare or other related fields

    Passionate about working with children

    Ability to build rapport with children and their parents

    Positive and patient demeanor

    An acceptable background check, including fingerprinting
