Your Role as a Master Teacher
As a Master Teacher, you’ll be the visionary leader of your classroom, designing and delivering an exceptional, play-based curriculum that meets Oklahoma QRIS and NAEYC standards. With an Oklahoma Professional Development Ladder (OPDL) certificate level four or higher, you’ll:
Create and implement engaging lesson plans that nurture social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth across seven core learning domains.
Foster a warm, inclusive classroom where every child feels supported and inspired to explore.
Mentor and guide assistant teachers, sharing your expertise to ensure a cohesive, high-quality program.
Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication, newsletters, and events that bring learning to life.
Assess and document children’s progress, adapting your approach to meet their evolving needs while maintaining a safe, organized environment.
What We’re Looking For
Education: A BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; an AA with significant ECE experience or a CDA is a plus. Experience: Proven success in preschool or childcare settings, with a knack for leading and inspiring both kids and colleagues. Qualities: A deep commitment to quality education, strong instructional skills, and a warm, professional presence. You’re a natural leader who thrives on collaboration and cultural competence.
