    The Executive Director is ultimately responsible for the entire school. All processes, procedures, and administration to ensure the school is in compliance with state licensing standards. Achieves all company KPI’s and financial expectations.

    KPI Expectations o Always keep children and team members safe and secure. o Good licensing visits. o Execute the Frog Street curriculum in every classroom every day. o Achieve a minimum of 60% guest tour conversion, 60% guest closing. o Tour Guide execution with each tour. o Follow up with each missed guest per the company Tour Guide - 24 hours, 72 hours, 12 days. o Stay under 50% payroll to total revenue. o Grow FTEs by 15% month over month, year over year o 1 Google 5-star review and 1 Yelp 5-star review achieved monthly. o 100% usage daily of the ED Success Guide. o Daily Grass Roots Plan execution. o Positive parent and teacher surveys. Marketing and Lead Generation o Send photos to marketing for social media posts once per week. o Ensure proper signage, referrals and local events are in place to drive enrollment. Tours & Enrollment o Execute the grass roots plan to promote awareness of the school and its services. o Confidently take prospective parents on a tour and achieve 60% closing rate. o No children start before they have a 100% completed file. o Conduct a family orientation prior to their start date or when requested. Parent Engagement o Teachers communicate twice daily through My Day Posts in Kindertales to each child’s parent. o Communicate via email & Kindertales with parents about tuition, school changes, child transitions, vacations, anniversary dates, policies, etc. o Smores communication to parents weekly, monthly, and as needed. o Host parent events in your school. o Send home evidence of learning with each child weekly. o Ensure teacher/parent conferences in the spring and fall. o Notify parents of any illness or injury as needed. o Post a calendar and menu to the parent board on the first day of each month. o Set up a meet and greet with new enrolling families after the tour is complete. Inspections and Drills o Meet state licensing requirements for all inspections and drills. o Complete and maintain proper crib inspections monthly — upon the new year make sure each crib has a completed inspection sheet before filing the prior years. o Ensure the school completes monthly fire and tornado, intruder drill bimonthly and log accordingly, as well as upload. File Management o Maintain proper biting logs. o Report and log any incident/accident or separation for any child and follow proper licensing steps. o Maintain an emergency information binder. o Maintain a summary of personnel records and upload a copy when changes occur. o Maintain staffing patterns. o Keep an attendance log for all children receiving assistance through a county or state funded program. o Create, post, and keep an updated allergy and special dietary needs list in the kitchen and all classrooms monthly or as needed. o Maintain medication within the school along with proper administration forms, logs, and storage. Ensure all medications are not expired. Licensing Visits and Correction Follow Up o Good licensing visits. o Conduct audits using the licensing checklist. o Respond timely to outstanding items and ensure all correction reports are submitted. Curriculum and Activities o Implement and ensure Frog Street curriculum execution. o Provide each classroom with proper paperwork and information for each child enrolled prior to enrollment. o Ensure each classroom properly logs children’s daily activities in Kindertales. o Submit a supplies list weekly for all lessons/curriculum for each program. Ratios and Observations o Maintain proper staff distributions and ratios in all classrooms. o Observe each classroom daily, document your classroom weekly observation notes (address immediate concerns) Cleaning o Clutter free school. Professionally placed signs. o Ensure each classroom completes a daily cleaning checklist and deep cleaning checklist the first week of every month. o Verify that each classroom has completed cleaning and sign off on the cleaning checklist. o Communicate with vendors as needed to have a clean organized school. Student Development / Behavior Plans o Create and maintain a behavior plan for children when needed. Partner with Regional Manager. Hiring and Onboarding o No team member starts without a perfect file. o Interview, hire and train new team members. o Send employee documents to APS as directed on the employee file checklist. o Complete and maintain employment files. o Help Team Members complete appropriate paperwork for benefits enrollment. Schedules /Time Entry / Payroll o Ensure schedule meets proper ratios needs. o Maintain time punches for all employees. o Submit accurate payroll by deadline. o Approve or deny all staff request time off within 2 business days of receipt. Training and Professional Development o Promote the CDA program in your school. o Provide professional development opportunities for staff.

    o Complete new hire orientation log. o Meet with every team member at least once every two weeks. o Maintain proper CPR and First Aid certifications. In-Service Training o Distribute in-service training to all team members monthly. o Record in-service training on each employee’s in-service training log and maintain. Employee Engagement o Execute the Reward & Recognition Program as needed in your school. o Create and send a team member monthly Smores newsletter. o Schedule/conduct monthly all team meetings. Employee Relations o Upload all progressive documents to APS. o Manage employee complaints timely. o Submit all leave of absence requests and first report of injury forms to HR. Kitchen o Ensure all kitchen and food handling procedures are followed. o Maintain food handler certification. Laundry o Ensure all laundry procedures are being followed. Playground / School Grounds o Complete and maintain proper playground checks and maintenance. o Ensure that facilities are maintained and cleaned according to state regulations. o Checking that safety equipment is available and working, removing hazards and ensuring the facility is always clean and orderly. o Maintain a clean and clutter free environment within the entire school to include hallways, bathrooms, laundry rooms or any other space by washing windows, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping or mopping as assigned per room as needed. o Maintain cleanliness of all supply rooms, break rooms, employee spaces and offices. o Put deliveries away in correct locations in a timely manner. Budgets and Finance o Manage the school finances according to budgets and KPI’s. o Control school expenses (payroll hours, supplies, equipment, etc.) Administration o Maintain and respond to all school emails, texts, calls within 24 hours unless needed sooner with respectful verbiage and appropriate etiquette.

    *This Position supervises all roles at the school. *This position is responsible for adhering to school budgets and KPI's

    | Education | o Director qualified. o BA/BS Degree in early education preferred but not required. | Certifications | o First Aid o CPR | Work Experience | o 1,040 hours of paid or unpaid staff supervision experience. o Preferred 1 year of experience as Assistant Director within Little Newtons. o Prior Managerial/Leadership experience in a childcare setting. o Proven track record of growing school enrollment | Knowledge | o Must have a working knowledge of child safety requirements and first aid protocol. o Working knowledge of childhood development. o Know-how to establish classroom structure.

    | Working Hours / OT | o Monday – Friday, weekends as needed. | Travel | o This role supports all Minnesota and Wisconsin Schools. Travel is required based on company needs. | Working Conditions | o Exposure to heat and cold based on location up to 1 hour / day (i.e. taking children outside) o Occasional exposure to Noisy/loud environments (i.e. children crying)
