In this role, you will assist the Lead teachers with supervising the children playtime, reading time, mealtime, diaper change and care for infants and toddlers.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
· Provide a safe and loving environment for the children in his/her care.
· Speak, read, & write English fluently
· Sufficient mobility and strength to repeatedly sit, stand, balance, stoop, walk, bend, reach, kneel, crouch, crawl and have full range of body motion.
Ability to work with cleaning/sanitizing chemicals and equipment.
· Must have above average attendance and punctuality and be dependable to work on a daily basis.
· Monitor children and ensure care and safety.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Minimum 6 completed units of early childhood education or currently enrolled.( within 6 months)
· Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
· High School Diploma or GED certificate.
Ability to pass a background check.
Able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Extended periods of time sitting or standing.
Reliable transportation to the childcare center.
Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with staff, teachers and parents.
