Who We Are Move Over Mozart has been teaching thousands of children how to play the piano in the greater Seattle area since 1994. We have an excellent curriculum designed specifically for the pre-reading child through elementary age. Our fun theory games and interactive learning style appeals specifically to the young child, making these lessons enjoyable and rewarding. Job Description
Teach group piano classes to a maximum of six students per class at various schools or community centers throughout your local area. Students’ ages range between 3 to 12 years old with classes grouping similar ages and musical ability together. Training includes how to teach piano to the various age levels of children, how to teach group piano lessons, and how to plan fun, motivating lessons. Students and materials, including keyboards, are provided.
Hiring Locations: Greater Eastside including: Woodinville, Redmond, Kirkland & Bellevue Part-Time: 3-10 hours/week Pay starts at $30/hour
Prerequisites:
Love for children evidenced through past experience
Love for music and piano proficient
Own transportation
Available afternoons (some mornings or early afternoons)
Ability to commit for a minimum of 1 year.
COVID-19 considerations: Obvious health precautions are expected. (wash hands, stay home with symptoms, etc.) Masks are optional. Classroom sanitation between classes is required. Other precautions may be needed as health regulations dictate.
