Choice Books Pennsylvania is hiring a full time rep to service displays in eastern PA and New Jersey.

CHOICE BOOKS PA JOB DESCRIPTION: SERVICE REP

POSITION: Route Service Representative

LOCATION: Warehouse in Manheim, PA. Operate from home.

SUPERVISOR: Operations Manager

SUPERVISE: none

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Travel to stores to service and restock Choice Books (CB) displays

· Operate box truck

· Operate hand held device used for inventorying displays, tracking sales, and keeping current and accurate truck inventory

· Communicate effectively with store managers, receivers, and office staff

· Available to work Monday-Friday averaging a 10 hour day. Some overtime may be required.

· Must be able to lift boxes of books and move displays (minimum 40 lbs.)

· Must be able to pass a DOT physical (CDL not required)

· Must be able to enter and exit the box of a truck

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Submit weekly book orders for purchasing to main office

· Must communicate and reply in a timely manner to email and phone communication

· Must be able to use Microsoft Excel

· Responsible for making sure routine maintenance is done on company owned truck (get oil changed, inspection, etc.)

· Some overnight trips may be required.

· Must be a self-starter and exercise self-discipline

· Must be able to think analytically when servicing and ordering

· Must be able to stay focused on task

· Must be able to start early morning (sometimes before 4:30am)

· Must have a high level of integrity
