    Job Description

    Role: Chromatography Lab Consultant
    Location: Boston Cambridge
    Job Type: Contract(C2C/W2)
    Interview: Phone/Video

    1. Separation Techniques
    • Perform chiral separations using Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) methods.
    • Conduct achiral separations utilizing various columns and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems.
    • Develop methods for separations across different scales, ranging from milligrams to multigram.

    2. Analytical Assessment
    • Assess enantiomeric excess, diastereomeric excess, and sample purity through analytical techniques.

    3. Equipment Proficiency
    • Demonstrate familiarity and experience with Agilent, Waters, and other SFC equipment.

    4. Methodology Development
    • Champion new separation techniques and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.

    5. Collaboration and Communication
    • Liaise with other analytical chemists within Integrated Drug Discovery and Early Development.
    • Clear and timely communication regarding work plans and results.

    6. Continuous Learning
    • Stay informed on current literature and participate in meetings to address analytical challenges.

    7. Troubleshooting and Support
    • Troubleshoot instrument issues effectively and coordinate with service representatives as needed.

    8. Compliance and Safety
    • Operate within the lab safely and efficiently, adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines and mandatory company compliance requirements.
    • Adapt to changes and challenges productively and professionally. Support drug discovery projects through chiral and achiral separations, chiral stationary phases, fundamental chemistry principles, an contemporary analytical methods Perform chiral separations using Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) methods.
