Chustz Electric is Looking to Expand its Service Team.
We are a long time Generator Sales, Service, and Installation Company with one of the best service teams in the area. We are growing and need to keep up with the demand of our service schedule.
If you are self-motivated, reliable and dedicated, and able to go above and beyond, then you are the person we are looking for! Working in our home standby generator division, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, warranty repairs and complete start-up testing as assigned by your direct supervisor. In addition, you will prepare written estimates for recommended corrective repairs noted during any service and submit them to your supervisor for approval. The outcome is to provide direct, hands-on maintenance of customer's in the company's Generator Division in order to support all aspects in the overall service and the sale of parts within the service department.
Responsibilities:
Perform Preventative Maintenance, Diagnostic Testing and Repairs on all brands of Generators
Follow instructions and work well with limited supervision
Carry out instructions in written or diagram form
Clearly and concisely document all work and repairs completed by following all documentations procedures as instructed
Perform complex problem solving and make logical decisions
Transport parts to worksites as needed
Provide and maintain own hand tools and meters required to perform basis job functions
Display sufficient computer knowledge to perform basic job functions
Follow all safety requirements, including the use of personal protective equipment
Be available to respond to any emergency calls 24/7
Generac, Briggs Stratton/GE, or Kohler Service Training preferred, However Factory Training will be provided for the right candidates.
Must be able to pass drug screen background testing
Basic computer skills preferred
Technically inclined knowledge with problem solving capabilities
Team player attitude with the ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines
Professional and personal presentation at all times
Ability to interface with co-workers and customers
Must maintain a clean driving record
