Team supports video teleconferencing throughout the facility including Santa Fe, Pacheco locations but mainly at Los Alamos location with occasional trips out to the other sites as needed; support Cisco technologies, AV equipment setups experience – for meetings or big events, handle many off-site events including setting up AV equipment such as mics, soundboards, etc.;
OT may kick in with off-site events but typically only 1-2X per year since most events occur during work hours in or near Los Alamos;
will be doing a lot of technical support on various equipment, not a lot of desk sitting; classified video teleconferencing which is why a Q is required eventually
will be mentored in the beginning (~3 months) shadowing the senior tec (who works an A schedule, hence 9/80A in the beginning), may be individual/independent work but will have team to assist as well; a lot of proactive solutioning, keep calendars for many rooms to know beforehand when important meetings are coming up to check in on equipment before the meeting takes place
