The Senior Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated parts in accordance with established procedures and guidelines under general supervision. This role ensures KPS Global meets quality, safety, and productivity standards and satisfies customer requirements.

- Performing duties in accordance with current Quality Management System, Safety Management System, and KPS Global Code of Conduct Requirements
- Assembling sub-assemblies, installing accessory components, wiring basic electrical connections per applicable diagram; modifying and assembling specialty and custom component parts
- Inspecting products to conform to quality, engineering, and customer requirements
- Maintaining departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
- Reading and interpreting job orders, diagrams, and blue prints to select and position material and accessory components
- Operating hand tools including, but not limited to, electrical and pneumatic power tools
- Completing and maintaining all associated electronic processes paperwork including checklists, stamping, blue prints, bar coding, and shipping material
- Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials and products utilizing lifting equipment when available
Required Skills
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure and blue prints; in-depth knowledge of products and components
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of the work day
- Must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistance
- Must be able to climb and balance
- Must be able to use hands to reach, handle, and/or feel
- Must have manual dexterity in hands for tool usage
- Must be able to work in temperatures above 95° in a non-climate controlled building
- Must be able to visibly inspect products
Required Experience
- 3 – 5 years of experience in manufacturing or construction
- GED or High School Diploma preferred
