Summary The Human Resource Clerk will be responsible for the new hire process and communicating with all new hired employees to ensure a successful onboarding and transition into the Company. Essential Job Functions * Timely processing of all New Hire employees into the HRIS system. * Enter and manage the background check process and communicate to management. * Schedule new hires and manage the process of pre-employment screenings, reviewing results and communicating results to management. * Coordinate the MVR review with Risk Management. Communicate results to management. * Maintain outstanding levels of administrative support to all internal and external employees. * Maintain and organize all office supplies. * Assist in recruitment and phone screening of potential candidates. * Posting of job openings on internal and external platforms. * Issue badges and other required documents. * Maintain and prepare various reports and distribute as required. * Administer the Dallas office transportation/parking program. * Assists the HR Manager and Payroll Manager with various research projects and/or special projects. * Ability to develop and maintain positive relations with customers, coworkers and supervisors. * Ability to multi-task and to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to work full time or overtime, if necessary. Education/Experience * Minimum one year of HR New Hire and Onboarding experience. * Bachelors degree, preferred. Competencies * Effective communication skills.* * Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.** * Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment.** * Skills in database and record keeping.** * High level of confidentiality.** * Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.* Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
