    SES Civil and Environmental LLC (SCE) is growing! We are seeking a talented Cadd Technician to join our dynamic SCE team, a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH). The candidate should have at least 5 years of design experience in construction, civil earthwork design, civil roadway design, and site modeling. The candidate must also be familiar with current industry standards and practices. An advanced degree is not required. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Responsibilities: • Be proficient in processing raw data through relevant software such as Civil 3D AutoCAD and MicroStation to modify drawings. • Prepare drawings to include calculating volumes and quantities from raw survey data. • Assisting with technical writing to prepare plans and reports. • Design and draft a wide variety of construction type elements such as architectural, civil, mechanical, structural, and environmental projects. • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other project team members for specific design plans and specification requirements. • Perform quantity takeoffs for various types of construction projects and proposals using on-screen and manual take-off tools based on an accurate reading of blueprints, geotechnical reports, requests for proposals, and related documents and transfer data into software for review with others. • Understand the surveying process and be able to communicate with surveyors and construction crews on a regular basis. • Possess good verbal and written communication skills and be able to work directly with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, customers, and other entities and present themselves in a professional manner. • Logically plan successive work activities and handle multiple projects simultaneously. • Able to utilize the available time to organize and complete tasks within given deadlines. Qualifications: • 5 years of design experience in construction, civil earthwork design, civil roadway design, and site modeling. • High School Diploma. • Experience with Civil 3D AutoCAD and MicroStation. • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable references and background check results.
