RESPEC, is seeking a dynamic and energetic Civil Engineer (EIT) to join our full-service engineering team! The Civil Engineer will design various types of projects in our Southeast Alaska office for public- and private-sector clients. This is a hands-on engineering design position in RESPEC’s Water Market Sector and will include working on multidiscipline design and construction projects. This is a great career opportunity for a dynamic, energetic individual looking to grow in their profession while gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of projects performed in Juneau and Southeast Alaska.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training or the ability to obtain within 1 year
• Autodesk AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency
• Solid knowledge of computer programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
• Self-motivated, energetic, and ability to take on new tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team
• Detail-oriented and well-organized with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Experience/Skills

• Experience in construction
• Knowledge of Civil3D modeling (corridors, grading, pipe models, etc.), quantities, calculations, and cost estimating
• Experience in preparing design drawings and design calculations for utility, site, and roadway improvement projects

Salary depends on experience. This is a benefits eligible, regular full time position.
