    Civil Engineer – Land Development

    Our organization is a consulting firm specializing in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, and Wetland consulting, serving Central and Eastern Massachusetts. We are currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team and support Land Development projects in these regions. This position is based in our Lunenburg office.

    We are looking for candidates with a BS in Civil Engineering, and while 2 years of land development and site design experience is preferred, we are open to considering entry-level as well as more experienced professionals.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
    • EIT Certification
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Experience with AutoCAD and HydroCAD
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Professional Engineer (PE) license
    • Expertise in AutoCAD and HydroCAD
    • Experience in utility design, grading and drainage design, site plan and subdivision preparation
    • Familiarity with Massachusetts Title 5 regulations, the Massachusetts Wetland Protection Act, and Massachusetts Stormwater Management Regulations

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with team members and work independently to develop commercial site plans and residential subdivision plans
    • Prepare application packages for submittals to local boards and commissions
    • Perform drainage calculations and compile detailed reports
    • Support the development of site designs that meet the needs of clients while adhering to local and state regulations
