Position Summary: The Civil Engineer position completes construction projects by preparing engineering design plans and documents in accordance with client and company specifications.
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare engineering drawings and reports for land development projects
Assist with or preparing permit applications
Erosion and sedimentation control reports
Design sediment traps and basins
Design stormwater management facilities
Design non-structural BMP’s for groundwater recharge
Perform site visits
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Education/Skills/Qualifications:
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
Professional registration (P.E.) is preferred but not required
E.I.T certification
1-5 years related experience/internships
Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 30) and stormwater management software is required
Valid driver’s license required
Excellent communication skills and strong customer facing personality to effectively work with clients and team members
Strong organizational skills
