Job Description

As one of our student interns, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. As a Student Intern on the Airports team, you will assist engineers by performing minor design work, preparing project design documents using CAD software, and may travel to project sites for field observation work. The Airports team provides services for a variety of airport **** projects **** including paving, grading, buildings, airport lighting, and fuel systems.

We have one current internship opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Springfield, MO or Joplin, MO office location.

You bring to the team:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil 3D is a plus).
• Pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
• Interest in the aviation or transportation industry preferred.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
