Job Summary
We are seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney looking to develop into a skilled and strategic trial lawyer. Working closely with our partners, including a board-certified civil trial specialist, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of litigation, improving trial advocacy and case strategy. Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, briefs, motions, and other legal memoranda.
Conduct legal research and case analysis.
Represent clients in legal proceedings including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
Develop strategies and collaborate with senior attorneys on case management.
Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients effectively.
Maintain detailed and accurate client records, case files, and client communications.
Qualifications
Licensed in California and in good standing with the State Bar.
Minimum 3+ years of civil litigation experience, with a preference for defense litigation.
Advanced verbal and written communication abilities.
Highly organized, responsible, and self-motivated.
Strong legal writing, research, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to strategically collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients.
