About The Role:
As a Civil Project Engineer, you will leverage your extensive expertise in design and project management to lead and execute a diverse range of complex civil engineering projects. These may include natural gas pipelines and facilities, electrical distribution and transmission systems, renewable energy infrastructure, dams, water resource management, stream restoration, landfill engineering, and mining facility development.
- Lead Project Management: Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with client expectations, budgets, and regulations. Manage the project lifecycle from concept to implementation while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Coordinate Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with local and remote teams, including engineers and construction professionals. Effective communication and cross-functional team management are essential for project success.
- Innovate and Optimize Designs: Apply technical expertise to drive innovation, optimize designs, and ensure engineering principles are effectively applied. Responsibilities include grading plans, erosion control, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting.
- Client Interaction: Regularly interact and coordinate with local, regional, and national clients.
About You:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an appropriate technical field
- You have a Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain reciprocity
- You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering
- You have experience managing multi-disciplined teams with excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, and are well-organized
- You have experience in client development and proposal writing
- You possess a strong work ethic and ability to work as a TEAM player
