Reporting into: General Manager
General Purpose:
The Claims Specialist provides client claim support and resolves claims within standard operating procedures while providing quality customer service to all clientele and internal team members. The specialist ensures timely and accurate order processing and maintains high customer service satisfaction to support business growth.
Essential Duties:
- Managing and resolving commodity claims regarding but not limited to client elected returns, QC issues, shipping issues, etc. with the goal of minimizing claims.
- Maintaining and developing claims reports to provide more transparent metrics to measure progress.
- Recording thorough notes throughout all states of the claim process.
- Completing follow-up communications and documentation with all clients, Buyers and the Logistics team.
- Coordinating with the Accounts Receivable and Logistics teams to confirm the shipped commodity arrivals.
- Assisting with and investigates all customer billing disputes and collaborates with the Accounts Receivables team to identify problems and provides resolution.
- Daily reviewing of invoiced sales and shipments.
- Ad hock reporting to identify trends and patterns.
