Responsibilities: • Settle on the clients’ behalf when appropriate and negotiate reasonable agreements • Appear as legal counsel on the clients’ behalf at mediations, trials, hearings, depositions, and litigation • Research case law and premises liability, and gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case • Supervise and delegate tasks to the team of legal assistants, personal injury paralegals, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretary • Govern personal injury case files from inception to completion Qualifications: • Proficiency in computers is vital • Requires a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. degree • Membership in the State Bar Association and a state license to practice law is mandatory • Knowledge of personal injury law/ tort law, medical terminology, wrongful death, civil and family law, and medical malpractice is vital • Three years of personal injury litigation or trial experience in wrongful death, medical malpractice, personal injury, or civil litigation practice areas is a necessity Compensation: $150,000 BOE
