    Summary

    As the Human Resources Generalist, you will foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. You will handle a variety of HR tasks, ensuring compliance and supporting employees. Your role will be dynamic and integral in shaping the organization's human resources strategies and initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Culture Cultivation: Foster a culture of leadership, kindness, respect, empathy, and compassion within the organization.
    • Employee Support: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution, promoting a positive work environment.
    • Employee Relations: Conduct investigations and provide guidance on employee relations matters.
    • Policy Development: Develop, coordinate, and implement HR policies and activities that promote a healthy workplace.
    • Compliance Assurance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and review and modify policies as needed.
    • Recruiting and Orientation: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, applicant screening, and interview coordination. Facilitate the onboarding process, ensuring new employees feel welcomed and informed about our mission and values.
    • Payroll: Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws. Handle payroll-related taxes and submit required reports to government agencies.
    • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Assist employees with benefit inquiries and claims.
    • Professional Development: Facilitate professional development and training activities for employees, ensuring continuous growth and learning within the organization.
    • Quality Assurance: Monitor and assess the quality and effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements based on data-driven insights.
    • Resource Allocation: Manage the HR budget, allocating resources effectively to ensure departmental operations within budgetary constraints.
    • Reporting and Evaluation: Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. Prepare regular reports on program outcomes and achievements for stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years in HR, with 3+ years in leadership.
    • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
    • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.

    Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
