    Position Summary:

    Claros Technologies is primarily focused on the research, development, scale-up, and commercialization of its PFAS destruction technology. We are seeking a collaborative, driven individual to join our team as a Vice President of Engineering. The VP Engineering will partner with the technical and business teams to drive engineering deliverables aligned with desired customer outcomes. Reporting to the executive team, this individual will require experience commercializing engineering solutions and leading high-performing teams.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Design, integrate, implement, and maintain full PFAS destruction solutions including pre-treatment, treatment and post-treatment systems
    • Recruit for, grow, and lead the engineering team; partner with external resources such as engineering firms as needed to supplement needed skill sets
    • Prepare and optimize budgets and cost models
    • Identify innovative improvements to effectiveness and efficiency of water treatment solutions
    • Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and other experts to develop new technologies
    • Identify potential risks related to technology and infrastructure; contribute to timely and effective solution planning for all critical path risks

    Competencies & Skills:

    • Experienced with designing reactors and integration of complex systems
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; experience in a customer-facing role a plus
    • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot technological issues at partner sites as needed
    • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
    • Track record of successful implementation of engineering solutions at customers sites

    Education – Bachelor's degree or higher in related engineering or chemistry related field (preference for environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering background)

    Experience – 10-15 years in a similar reactor design and system integration

    Job Specifications:

    • Salary: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
    • Schedule: 8 hour shift
    • Ability to commute/relocate: Minneapolis, MN 55413: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
    • Work Location: In person
