  • Responsibilities

    Class A Drivers fresh out of driving school looking to start their career are being requested to apply. You will start going out with a trainer running OTR making deliveries in 53' Dry Van Trailers. After training you will be running within the Great Lake Regional

    Job Details

    • Running lane is the North Central Regional.
    • Hauling 53' Dry Van trailers.
    • Driver will run OTR for 4-6 weeks with training if under 6 months experience.
    • Home every other week for at least a 34-hour reset (weekends most likely but not guaranteed).
    • Mix of drop & hook and live load/unload and sometimes driver assist.
    • Driver must be willing to drive during the day or during the night.
    • Miles a week is 2000.

    Pay/Benefits

    • Trainees are paid $650/week for 4-6 weeks.
    • .56 - .64 a mile depending on experience
    • $40 stop pay.
    • $40 short haul pay.
    • $50 Driver assist pay
    • $1300 - $1400 average weekly pay.
    • .06 per mile monthly bonus for over 8200 miles driven, no accidents, fuel at 7 MPG.
    • Full benefits that kick in after 30 days including medical, dental, 401K and PTO

    Requirements

    • Must have attended and graduated from an accredited truck driving school with at least 120 hours.

    • Must be 21 with a Valid Class A CDL

    • Must have a fairly clean driving record with no major accidents, tickets, or suspensions within the past 5 years.

    • Cannot have been terminated from last job for any reason.

    • No DUI's, felonies, misdemeanors in the last 5 years

    • Must have solid 10-year work history with no major gaps of employment outside of school or training. 6 months in the last year and 1 year in the last 3 years max.

    • Must be able to pass a Urine AND HAIR pre-employment drug screen.
