Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Content Supervisor to oversee the inventory of contents and cleaning of personal property affected by fire damage. This role is responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring proper handling and cleaning of salvageable items, and maintaining a smooth workflow while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership: Oversee content cleaning technicians and ensure efficient workflow during the restoration process.
Inventory & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of damaged and salvageable items using inventory tracking software.
Customer Interaction: Communicate with property owners regarding their belongings, explaining processes and setting expectations.
Restoration Oversight: Ensure all items are properly packed out, cleaned, stored, and returned according to company standards.
Quality Control: Inspect restored contents for cleanliness and completeness before returning them to clients.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure all technicians follow proper PPE, handling, and cleaning protocols.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience in content restoration, fire damage cleaning, or related fields preferred but not required.
Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
Certifications (preferred not required): IICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT) or similar industry certifications.
